Review every output

Automated transcription, text extraction, narration, and slide design can contain mistakes.

1. Agreement

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and SyncSpire Ventures Inc., operating as SyncSlide (“SyncSlide,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you create an account or use the SyncSlide service. If you use SyncSlide for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use SyncSlide. During registration, you accept these Terms separately from acknowledging our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is a notice about how we handle personal information; it is not part of these contractual Terms.

2. What SyncSlide does

SyncSlide converts supported videos into presentation files and can turn supported presentations into narrated videos. Depending on the options currently available, outputs may include PowerPoint, PDF, Google Slides, and MP4 files.

  • SyncSlide can identify slide changes, transcribe speech, extract on-screen text, prepare notes, and help redesign a slide.
  • Captured slide visuals remain images. Text, notes, slide order, and structure may be editable, but objects inside a captured image are not rebuilt as editable PowerPoint shapes.
  • Presentation-to-video features can use notes you provide or import to create narration.
  • Supported formats, file limits, languages, voices, resolutions, and feature availability are the current options shown in the product.

Results depend on the source material and the options you choose. Automated results may be incomplete or wrong, so you must review them before relying on, presenting, publishing, or sharing them.

3. Accounts

  • Provide accurate information, keep it current, protect your password, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • Do not share account credentials or create accounts to evade limits, restrictions, or charges.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
  • We may require email verification and reasonable identity checks for security, refunds, or privacy requests.

The self-service account action deactivates access; it does not erase the account or its records. To request permanent deletion, follow Section 7 or the Privacy Policy. If cancellation of an active subscription cannot be confirmed, deactivation does not complete and the account remains active; contact support for assistance.

4. Credits, prices, and payments

Current offers

SyncSlide uses credits for eligible actions. The live Pricing page and checkout show the details for the current offer, including its price in the stated currency and included credits. Any special condition shown for that offer, together with the refund rules below, governs the purchase. The action confirmation shows the live credit estimate and applicable limits. We do not silently replace accepted details with a later offer.

Before a metered conversion or redesign begins, SyncSlide shows the credit estimate you accept. That estimate is the maximum charge for the request. After processing, we charge only for the work delivered and return any unused reserved credits. If nothing is delivered because the request fails or is successfully cancelled, all reserved credits are returned. Deleting a completed result does not create a new credit refund.

Purchases

  • New credit packs are one-time purchases unless checkout clearly says otherwise.
  • Credits from a completed pack purchase do not expire simply with time. They remain until used, refunded or reversed, or the account is permanently deleted.
  • Future offers may change, but a change does not reduce credits already purchased or increase an estimate already accepted.
  • Stripe processes payments. SyncSlide receives the billing and transaction details needed to manage the purchase.
  • We collect taxes when required. You remain responsible for taxes that law requires you to report or pay directly.
  • A receipt or other storable confirmation is provided after a successful purchase.

If your account has a subscription, the offer accepted when it began continues to apply. You can cancel it through the available account controls, with access continuing through the paid period unless that offer or applicable law says otherwise.

Refunds

The refund conditions displayed before purchase apply in addition to rights that cannot be waived by law. To request a refund, contact support@syncslide.com with the account email and purchase details. Approved refunds go to the original payment method. We may decline a request for credits already used, except where law requires otherwise.

5. Your content and our limited permission

You keep ownership of content you upload and of any rights you already have in it. You confirm that:

  • you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, process, transform, and share the content;
  • your use respects privacy, recording, publicity, copyright, employment, education, platform, and other applicable rules; and
  • you will not upload content that you are prohibited from giving to a processing service.

You give SyncSlide a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transmit, and process the content only to provide, maintain, support, and secure the features you request and to meet legal obligations. This permission ends when those purposes and applicable retention periods end. It does not allow SyncSlide to use your submitted content to train SyncSlide's AI systems.

6. Google Slides and sharing

If you request a Google Slides copy, SyncSlide sends the presentation and your account email address to Google so the file can be created and delivered. An address associated with a Google Account normally receives edit access to that specific file. If Google cannot grant named access because the address has no Google Account, SyncSlide may provide an unlisted editing link instead.

Anyone who receives or is forwarded an unlisted editing link can edit that presentation. The link does not grant access to the presentation folder, sibling presentations, or another user's files. You are responsible for checking recipient addresses and sharing links only with people you trust. Google's terms also apply when you use Google Slides.

7. Retention and deletion

The Privacy Policy shows the current periods for uploaded videos and for presentation uploads and created files. Uploaded videos are removed using the current uploaded-video period. Presentation uploads and created files keep the period recorded for their conversion even if the standard period later changes. Removal may finish shortly after a period ends. Files from an interrupted conversion may be kept briefly so the conversion can be retried. Records needed for purchases, security, consent, disputes, and legal obligations may be kept longer.

  • You can delete an eligible completed conversion from your account. This permanently removes available SyncSlide files and schedules removal of the connected Google Slides copy.
  • If an outside service is temporarily unavailable, deletion may be retried. Contact support if a connected copy remains accessible after deletion.
  • Make your own copy before deleting a conversion if you want to keep a result. Deleting a completed conversion does not refund the credits used to create it.
  • Deactivating an account stops access but retains account data. It completes only after cancellation of an active subscription is confirmed. A verified permanent-deletion request can be sent to privacy@syncslide.com.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use SyncSlide to:

  • break the law, infringe another person's rights, or process content without required permission;
  • create or distribute exploitative, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful material;
  • upload malware, attack or disrupt the service, probe security without written authorization, or bypass limits and access controls;
  • impersonate others, mislead people about the source of an output, or use an output in a way that causes unlawful harm; or
  • resell or automate access in a way that burdens the service or violates these Terms.

We may investigate and remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.

9. Ownership

SyncSlide and its licensors own the service, software, branding, website, and related materials. These Terms give you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer that ownership.

SyncSlide does not claim ownership of your generated outputs. Your rights in an output depend on your source content, the rights of others, and applicable law. You are responsible for reviewing an output before using or sharing it. Feedback you voluntarily send may be used to improve SyncSlide without identifying confidential content.

10. Availability and output quality

We work to keep SyncSlide available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular processing time, or a particular result. Features may change for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. When practical, we will give notice of a material change that adversely affects an existing paid commitment.

To the extent permitted by law, SyncSlide is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that automated transcription, text extraction, slide selection, design, narration, or generated files will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your purpose. These limits do not exclude warranties or rights that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Limits of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from intentional or gross fault, or for bodily or moral injury where Quebec law applies.

Otherwise, to the maximum extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, or data, when that loss was not a reasonably foreseeable result of the breach. SyncSlide's total liability connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid SyncSlide for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Mandatory consumer rights and remedies always take priority over this section.

12. Indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, you will protect SyncSlide from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs caused by your content, your material breach of these Terms or the law, or your infringement of another person's rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by SyncSlide's own conduct, and it does not reduce non-waivable consumer rights.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SyncSlide at any time and may deactivate your account. Deactivation does not itself create a refund. If cancellation of an active subscription cannot be confirmed, deactivation does not complete and you should contact support. Permanent deletion follows the verified process described in Section 7.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address non-payment, a security risk, illegal activity, harm to others or the service, or a material breach of these Terms. We may terminate access for a serious or repeated breach. When the issue can be cured safely, we will normally give notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix it.

Terms that logically continue after termination—including ownership, payment obligations, liability limits, dispute rules, and obligations relating to prior content use—remain in effect.

14. Quebec law, language, and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact support@syncslide.com so we can try to resolve it informally. This does not shorten any legal deadline or prevent urgent relief.

Subject to any consumer right to proceed elsewhere, disputes may be brought before the courts of Quebec in the judicial district of Montréal. Nothing here requires pre-dispute arbitration, waives a class action, or removes rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act or another mandatory law.

Une version française complète des présentes Conditions est offerte en premier. After the French version has been made available, you may expressly choose the English version and agree that this agreement and related documents be drawn up in English. Après que la version française a été rendue accessible, vous pouvez choisir expressément la version anglaise et convenir que la présente entente et les documents qui s'y rattachent soient rédigés en anglais.

15. Changes, general terms, and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively. We will show the effective date and give the notice, comparison, delay, acceptance choice, or cancellation right required by applicable law for a material change. A new offer does not retroactively change a completed purchase or an accepted conversion estimate.

These Terms and any purchase terms expressly accepted at checkout are the agreement about the service. If one provision cannot be enforced, the rest remain in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent; we may transfer this agreement as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale while preserving applicable rights.
