How to Turn PowerPoint into a Narrated Video with AI
Upload a PPTX with speaker notes, or upload a PDF and add narration text, then choose an available voice and generate a downloadable MP4.

Recording narration for a presentation requires a microphone track, slide timing, and another take whenever the script changes.
That workflow can be inconvenient for digital lessons, product walkthroughs, training material, and status updates that already have a written script.
Text-to-speech provides another way to create the narration track without recording it yourself.
SyncSlide provides a presentation-to-video workflow for a PPTX with speaker notes, or for a PPTX/PDF whose narration text you add in the editor.
For a PowerPoint (.pptx), SyncSlide imports the slide visuals and speaker notes. PDF pages do not contain PowerPoint speaker notes, so add the narration text in the editor after upload. SyncSlide can narrate that reviewed text with an available compatible voice and combine it with the slide visuals in a downloadable MP4.
The Voice and Video Pipeline
The voice selector lets you hear a preview before you generate the full video.
The result depends on the selected voice, the wording and punctuation in your notes, and current service behavior, so review the preview and the completed video before sharing it.
1. Current Voice Catalog
The presentation editor lets you choose the voice used to narrate the deck. Multilingual voices can read speaker notes written in supported languages; SyncSlide narrates the text you provide rather than translating it automatically.
The editor shows the voices and language support currently available and provides a preview for each selectable voice.
2. The Interactive Presentation Editor
Speaker notes are not always complete when a presentation is uploaded. The Slides & Speaker Notes editor lets you revise the narration script after import.
Select a slide in the sorter, revise its speaker notes, and save the change. You can preview the selected voice before generating the complete video.
3. Video Creation
SyncSlide combines each rendered slide with its narration and produces a downloadable MP4. Processing time varies with slide count, narration length, and service load.
How It Works
- Log in to SyncSlide and click "Slides to Video".
- Upload your PowerPoint (
.pptx) or exported PDF. - Select your Voiceover Profile from the dropdown menu (or select Silent Video if you just want a pacing slideshow).
- Review imported PowerPoint speaker notes, or add narration text when the file has no notes.
- Review the slides and estimated credit cost, then select Generate.
Reclaim Your Time
The presentation-to-video workflow lets you revise the written script without recording another microphone take.
