Privacy Policy

What SyncSlide collects, why we use it, who receives it, how long content stays, and the choices you have.

Effective July 11, 2026 · Version 2026-07-11

Your content is not training data

SyncSlide does not use submitted media, transcripts, presentations, or outputs to train models.

Content is temporary

Source media and generated content follow the current retention periods shown below and can often be deleted sooner.

Google sharing is file-specific

A recipient gets only the requested deck. A no-account fallback link can be forwarded, so share it carefully.

Optional tracking is your choice

Analytics and advertising measurement stay off unless you consent and can be turned off for future activity.

1. Who we are

SyncSpire Ventures Inc., operating as SyncSlide, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our Person in charge of the protection of personal information can be reached at privacy@syncslide.com.

General support is available at support@syncslide.com or through our contact form.

2. What we collect

We collect only the categories needed for the purposes below:

  • Account and choices: name, email address, password protection data, verification status, language, policy acknowledgements, and optional marketing choices.
  • Submitted content and settings: videos, audio, images, presentations, notes, filenames, the processing options you choose, and recipient addresses used for delivery.
  • Generated content: slide images, extracted text, transcripts, notes, presentations, narrated videos, previews, and information about a job's status and credit use.
  • Purchases: transaction, receipt, refund, and credit-balance details. Payment-card information is entered with Stripe; SyncSlide does not receive or store the full card number or security code.
  • Communications: support requests, privacy requests, feedback, and related correspondence.
  • Service and security information: sign-in activity, IP address, browser or device type, session activity, errors, performance, and actions needed to secure and operate the service.
  • Optional analytics and advertising information: pages and features used, campaign and conversion events, and limited device information, only after you consent.

3. Why we use it

  • Provide the service: create and secure an account, process submitted content, calculate and use credits, generate outputs, deliver files, and provide support.
  • Process purchases: complete a payment or refund, prevent payment abuse, issue records, and meet accounting and tax obligations.
  • Protect SyncSlide and its users: authenticate users, investigate suspicious activity, prevent misuse, diagnose failures, and maintain reliable service.
  • Meet legal obligations: respond to valid requests, preserve required records, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms.
  • Use optional features: send marketing or run analytics and advertising measurement only after the separate choice that applies to that activity.

Depending on the activity and the law that applies, we use information because it is needed to provide the service you requested, because you consented, because we have a reasonable business or security need that does not override your rights, or because the law requires it. You can ask which basis applies to a particular activity.

4. Automated processing

SyncSlide automatically analyzes submitted media to identify slide changes and, when selected, transcribe speech, extract or clean text, prepare notes, redesign slides, and create narration or files. This processing transforms the content you provide; it is not used to make decisions about your eligibility, employment, credit, health, or other similarly significant matters.

Automated results can be wrong. Review them before use. SyncSlide does not use your submitted content to train models.

5. Who receives information

We do not sell personal information for money. Information is shared only as needed with:

  • Service providers that supply hosting, secure file storage, content processing, email delivery, support, monitoring, analytics after consent, and other operations needed to run SyncSlide.
  • Stripe when you make or manage a payment.
  • Google when a Google Slides copy is created, or when you consent to Google-based analytics or advertising measurement.
  • Your chosen recipients when you ask us to deliver or share content.
  • Authorities, advisers, or transaction parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a corporate transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Providers may process information only for the services they supply to us, under contractual and legal protections. A current list of material providers and processing countries is available by writing to privacy@syncslide.com.

6. Google Slides delivery

If you request a Google Slides copy, SyncSlide sends the presentation and your account email address to Google. SyncSlide does not ask to read your personal Google Drive. An email address associated with a Google Account normally receives edit access to that one deck.

If the address has no Google Account, delivery may use an unlisted editing link that works without Gmail or sign-in. Anyone who receives or is forwarded that link can edit that deck. The permission does not reveal the parent folder, sibling decks, or another user's presentation.

Deleting the related job schedules deletion of the connected Google copy. If Google is temporarily unavailable, deletion may be retried; contact support if the copy remains accessible. Make a copy in your own Drive before deleting the job if you want to retain it.

7. Cookies, analytics, and email

SyncSlide uses browser storage and cookies that are necessary to sign you in, protect forms, remember privacy choices, and keep the service working. These are not used for advertising.

Optional analytics and advertising measurement remain off unless you choose “Accept All” in Cookie Settings. After consent, providers may receive page, device, campaign, and conversion information. Purchase matching may include a one-way scrambled version of your email rather than the readable address. You can change Cookie Settings at any time; the change stops future optional collection but does not erase information already retained under a provider's applicable rules.

Account, security, receipt, job, and support messages are service communications. Marketing email is optional and requires a separate choice. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method, and you can also change the preference in your account.

8. Retention and deletion

  • Source media is scheduled for deletion after the current source-media period. A failed upload or job may be kept briefly for a safe retry.
  • Generated content—including downloadable files, slide content and images, narrated videos, and connected Google Slides copies—is scheduled for deletion after the period assigned when processing finishes unless you delete it sooner.
  • Account information is kept while the account is active. Deactivation retains it; a verified deletion request starts the permanent-deletion process, subject to necessary exceptions.
  • Purchase, consent, security, support, and legal records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute, compliance, and evidence purposes, then deleted or de-identified.

You can delete eligible completed jobs from your account. Permanent account deletion can be requested at privacy@syncslide.com. We may verify identity and may retain limited records when required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. Deletion from backups and service providers follows their protected cleanup cycles.

9. Security and international handling

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and risk, including restricted access, encryption during transfer and storage, monitoring, recovery controls, and contractual requirements for service providers. No online service can promise perfect security. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

SyncSlide is based in Quebec, Canada. Some providers may process information elsewhere in Canada or outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Information in another country can be subject to that country's laws. Before a material cross-border arrangement, we assess the purpose, sensitivity, location, safeguards, and provider commitments and use contractual or other protections required by applicable law.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold your personal information and give you access to it;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete information that no longer needs to be kept;
  • provide eligible information in a portable format;
  • explain a use or disclosure, or object where the law allows;
  • withdraw consent for future activity, without changing processing that was lawful before withdrawal; and
  • complain to the privacy regulator where you live.

The account export is a convenient copy of selected account data; a formal access request may cover more. Send requests to privacy@syncslide.com. We will verify identity, respond within the time required by law, and explain any lawful limit. You may use Cookie Settings for optional tracking and the unsubscribe link for marketing.

11. Children

Self-service accounts are not directed to children who cannot legally agree to our Terms. We do not knowingly collect a child's personal information through such an account without the authorization required by law. Contact us if you believe a child provided information contrary to this policy.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will show the effective date and give prominent notice of a material change as required. Prior versions are identified by their version date.
